Today I had a really good argument with a lady on the bus, who also followed me to the grocery store for this conversation. This is how the conversation went ...pay close attention, cause at the end, I want to know how all of my brothers feel about what she said.
"Excuse me my brother, do you know Jesus?"
I said "Yes! I know him really well." and I kept it moving. She then asked "Do you attend church? Would you be interested in coming to Greater Mount Calvary?" I said "I do attend church, but not Greater Mount Calvary!" I'm still walking and not paying her ass in her attention. She then says "Well you come, cause we are in the business of saving souls like yours. The homosexual spirit is running rampant." At this point I had to brace myself cause I was not trying to hear all that "HOLY ROLLER" shit!! Cause I'm sure she ain't been a SAINT all of her life. So I turn to her say "Welll I hope that GOD lets your judgemental ass in the gates then." And I kept it moving. She then decides to yell at me down the street "You and all of your faggot friends will never make it into heaven, cause what you do is a sin!!!" At this point, I stop! Turn around! And walk back to her and put her in place..."You don't know me, nor do you know what the FUCK I DO!!! I'm not out on the street putting people down in the name of Jesus...nor am I trying to get people to come to one of the biggest churches in DC, with the largest gay congregation. Jump back to reality, and get the fuck out of my face. Oh and if I do go to hell, which I doubt I will (I'm sure I will see here as there) It's my choice...NOW STEP THE FUCK OFF!!" I turned and walked away.
Now my question is as a gay man, do you think we are going to hell? Is who we are really a sin? This is what I have to say on that!! NO in my opinion it's not, because as long as I have been alive, I have always known I was gay. I am no longer ashamed of who I am, and I am not trying to be something I'm not, in church or out! What do you think about this? Speak brutha's...I want to know! Do you think the way you are is a sin or are you happy with the way GOD made you?

We don't have a chioce in deciding what is sin and what isn't sin. For one thing there is no more keeping of the Ten Commandments as the Old Covenant was done away. The New Covenant has the commandments of Christ and there are only two, and they are to believe in God's son Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He loved us. Breaking those two commandmnets are the only sins under the New Covenant. The commandments of Christ can be found in John's gospel and John's epistles. So having said that, is being gay a sin? - Yes it was during Old Testament times, but the times have changed and it is no longer a sin if done with love. Word. Peace out.
